lap 11 : Wilson is still holding to his 9th place but pressure is starting to be strong behind him
lap 11 : Alonso is putting more pressure on Barrichello. No overtaking manoeuvre but he is right behind
lap 13 : Villeneuve in the pits. Problems for the BAR driver
lap 14 : Button in the pits for fuel and tyres. Very quick stop

lap 22 : Fisichella in the pits for his first stop. Trouble to get the fuel in his car. He loses time.
lap 23 : Ralph Firman is ahead of Panis, but the French driver catches him and overtakes him!
lpa 25 : Firman in the pits. He goes back on the circuit
lap 26 : Heidfeld and Webber in a fierce battle
lap 27 : Wilson, Verstappen, Fisichella and Firman are in a train of cars... Alonso trying to lap them!
lap 28 : Alonso succeeds in passing the four cars, Barrichello is half way done also. Now he needs to pass the two Minardis. He is done.
lap 29 : Da Matta in the pits
lap 30 : Michael Schumacher's lead is increasing. However Alonso is also increasing his gap on Barrichello
lap 31 : Villeneuve's retirement is engine related
lap 33 : Heidfeld in the pits. Normal stop.
lap 34 : Other way around now: Alonso slightly faster than Michael Schumacher.
lap 35 : Michael Schumacher in the pits. Very short stop, probably a third stop for Michael later on.
lap 36 : Michael is stuck behind his brother Ralf. Rubens makes his stop.
lap 37 : Alonso in the pits. A really quick stop. He comes back on the track closer to Schumacher
lap 38 : Michael overtook his brother, after he did a small mistake
lap 39 : Alonso furious while overtaking Firman. He felt the young Jordan driver was holding him up
lap 39 : Alonso now catching Ralf. He wants to pass him on the track even if the Williams driver will need to stop soon
lap 39 : Ralf makes another mistake, Alonso passes but Ralf goes off track
lap 41 : Ralf Schumacher is back in the pits. Normal pit stop, no apparent damage to his car after his off

lap 50 : Alonso is now in the pits. Good stop. Barrichello also in the pits. They are both back on the track
lap 55 : The gap between Schumacher and Alonso is increasing

lap 61 : Michael Schumacher lost some time lapping his brother and Da Matta
lap 62 : Ralf Schumacher is locking up his brakes frequently, maybe a brake balance problem
lap 63 : Da Matta tries every way possible to pass Ralf but so far it does not work. Now Alonso is getting close to lap the duo
lap 64 : Alonso waives his impatience at Ralf, the Renault driver losing time while lapping him
final lap : Michael is on his way to win his second win this year, the first win for the new F2003-GA
Final lap : Michael Schumacher wins, Alonso is second and extremely pleased
