StoryProgression по-русски: исправление ошибок перевода

Полагаю, что первое имя неверно. Сима из этой пары, который мог набезобразничать, зовут Рудольф :)
 
Еще мне кажется, что около слова "давай" нужно оставить только одну запятую.

Ты что-то уже начал переводить? Давай, я возьму базовый мод, Extra и Expanded? Если, конечно, ты какой-то из них уже не переводишь.
Я не хочу переводить прямо на его странице, лучше скопирую, потом вставлю.

Без проблем, если будут какие-то вопросы, обсудим. Я перевожу, используя локальный репозиторий с децентрализованной системой контроля версий. Ну привык я так, что с меня взять :)
Вся моя работа по переводам доступна по ссылкам выше (https://bitbucket.org/sh1ny/sh1ny/changesets), если в сообщении указано synced with wiki, то оное не является моим инкрементальным переводом или прежде я писал в вики, а затем переносил результат в репозиторий.
 
Тогда ты занимайся *викой*, а я буду потихоньку переводить мод. До аддона времени еще куча.

Здесь идут замечательные аллюзии "Town Cat" (это как "Женщина-Кошка" - неуловимая воровка, отличается от робина меркантильностью, в нашем переводе - Злой вор) и котят, которых он(а) приютил(а). Жаль, что в нашем переводе это обыграть со "Злым вором" не выйдет :(

Если по умолчанию "Town Cat" может быть только симка, то стоит, наверное, изменить все строки перевода с "Town Cat" на соответствующие (как Женщина-Кошка или что-либо более соответствующее игровому сеттингу).

Изменил перевод в компоненте Lovers, который ну никак не поддерживал однополые пары в ситуациях с TownBike + небольшие фиксы.

Конечно, должно быть {10.SimName}. Или взамен можно использовать что-то вроде "слишком болтливый сосед/свидетель" без упоминания имени.
Такое у автора бывает. В предыдущем стринге (...Disapproval1</KEY>) он вообще не указал {0.SimName} - главного виновника сообщения.
И ты правильно сделал, что не оставил {4.String} в тексте.

Если по умолчанию "Town Cat" может быть только симка, то стоит, наверное, изменить все строки перевода с "Town Cat" на соответствующие (как Женщина-Кошка или что-либо более соответствующее игровому сеттингу).
Вот тут я лопухнулась при переводе. В опциях Town Cat нет строчки Allow All Genders. А я-то старалась, расписывала все теги. Надо было сразу исходить из того, что тут в основе лежит киношный персонаж.
Подозреваю, что подобное может встретиться и в других личностях. Спасибо, что обратил внимание.
Возьмешься изменить перевод Town Cat в соответствии со своим пониманием этой роли? Я потом просмотрю все личности, когда будет время. Сейчас занимаюсь базовым модом.

Я вообще-то оставил {x.String} по всем переводам, более того, я подкорректировал соответствующие местоимения в главном переводе. Я до конца разобрался как с ними справляться - это помогает мне избежать некоторых дубляжей строк типа _Female, _MaleFemale и _FemaleFemale.

Конечно, я займусь переводом Town Cat раз обнаружил это.
 
sh1ny, может, тогда лучше переписать местоимения, чтобы начинались не с заглавной буквы? В середине предложения Он или Его не будут смотреться.

Я использую как строчные местоимения, так и местоимения с заглавной буквы. Там все есть.

Оу, это английский. Как-то не сразу понял. :)
Да, они были в женских местоимениях в капитализированном варианте, мне оставалось лишь "допилить" мужские.

Я думаю, что нам предстоит решить, как быть с этими местоимениями. Было бы очень удобно ввести такие распространенные формы гендерных различий глаголов как "...а ". Тогда еще пару десятков дублированных строк можно будет избежать. Да и вообще два "мальчика" там, по-моему, не нужны :)
