На прошлой неделе начался новый музыкальный год журнала “Billboard”, а следовательно 2006 музыкальный год закончился, и пора подводить итоги, чем Billboard Music Awards 2006 и занимается. Церемония пройдет 4 декабря в MGM Grand Garden Arena в Лас Вегасе и будет транслироваться телеканалом Fox. Ведущей мероприятия будет Пэрис Хилтон.
Лидерами по количеству номинаций стали канадские рокеры Nickelback, звёздное кантри-трио Rascal Flatts, R&B-дива Mary J. Blige и рэпер T.I. У всех по 5 номинаций. Интерес вызывает номинация “Female country artist of the year”, где уже третью церемонию подряд соперничают Faith Hill и Carry Underwood. Не удивлюсь, если они и на Грэмми будут номинированы. Пока счет 1:1 =)).
Победитель определяется довольно просто – по наилучшему расположение в чартах издания.
